Medical Review Process
SemaLiving covers GLP-1 medications in a YMYL category. Our standard is to keep patient safety, source quality, and clinician oversight ahead of affiliate conversion.
Current reviewer status
Publish gate: SemaLiving still needs a named licensed clinician reviewer on the masthead before pages should claim “medically reviewed.” Until then, content should be labeled educational/editorial and routed through human review before traffic launch.
Reviewer page template
When Matt/team selects the clinician reviewer, use the Medical Reviewer / Author Page Template to collect bio fields, credentials, reviewer badge copy, and schema inputs before publishing reviewer claims.
Review workflow
- Start with FDA labels, manufacturer safety information, PubMed/clinical literature, CDC/NIH sources where relevant, and current provider terms.
- Separate patient education from diagnosis, prescribing, or individualized treatment advice.
- Flag side effects with “what is common” and “when to call your doctor” guidance.
- Add published, updated, and last-reviewed dates to articles as they go live.
- Re-review pages after medication label changes, major provider pricing changes, or every 6–12 months.
